More on the breast reduction from hell

Recently there was a patient who had what I described as 'the breast reduction from hell'. She was the victim of botched surgery, in particular the liposuction under the arm portion of the procedure which is done to keep any breast fat that wants to creep back in away from the chest area. Here are photos from June 2, almost two months after surgery. Her surgeon was Chia Kao and his website is www.ckplasticsurgery.com

ugly hematoma

This is a photo showing how the hematoma caused her left breast to swell a cup size larger than the right. Ouch!

The patient writes:

This entire situation is a painful nightmare, especially my left breast which is always tender and sore to the touch. Although the photos are from early June, my breasts still look the same, the left one is much larger than the right. Here's an analogy for the pain: Imagine a large size person squeezing into a small size t-shirt. That would be uncomfortable, right? Now image its involving skin and nerves. It HURTS.

What was my doctor's response to all this? He told me,'No, I am not treating you for your pain or swelling. I will only prescribe you physical therapy. You need it.' I tried to explain to him that physical activity made the pain worse, but he brushed me off.
